VIGILUME Security · Selected engagements
Accepted where we can plan it properly.
Event work is a capability we take on selectively — usually activations and community events at sites we already know. We would rather decline than under-resource an event.

The operational problem
The operational problem
Events go wrong before they start. Entry flow that was never modelled, zones nobody agreed, and a staffing number pulled from last year create queues, confusion and escalation with no clear owner.
Organisers then spend the busiest hours of the event coordinating security, venue staff and contractors themselves.

Where this service commonly fails
The failure points are predictable. That is what makes them fixable.
Staffing quoted as a headcount rather than mapped to positions
Bump-in and bump-out treated as unstaffed time
Radio channels and escalation agreed on the morning of the event
No written debrief, so the same problems recur next time
The VIGILUME approach
How VIGILUME plans an event
We work from your run sheet: attendance profile, entry points, licensed areas, back-of-house access, bump-in and bump-out, and the incident thresholds that matter to you.
Staff are mapped to positions with a supervisor coordinating communications, and you receive a written debrief that makes the next event easier to plan.

What you can expect to see
Evidence, not assurance
- A position map rather than a headcount
- One supervisor accountable for communications on the day
- Incidents recorded during the event, not reconstructed after it
- A written debrief within the agreed window
Mobilisation considerations
Before the first shift
- 01Run sheet review and site walk before staffing is confirmed
- 02Licence classes confirmed against the specific event profile
- 03Radio, medical and venue coordination agreed in advance
- 04Contingency and weather plans documented where relevant
- Crowd control roles are provided only under the relevant NSW licence classes
- We accept event work selectively, based on planning time and available supervision
- Where an event needs capability or scale we do not currently hold, we say so and decline
- This is a developing capability; we do not present it as an established event operation
Where we deliver it
Priority sectors
Delivered across South West Sydney, with each site assessed on access, supervision and relief coverage before we accept it.
- Neighbourhood retail and shopping centres
- Council and community facilities
Questions
What clients ask before engaging us
Do you take on large ticketed events?
Not currently. We accept activations and community-scale events where planning time and supervision are available, and we decline work we cannot resource properly.
How far ahead should we talk to you?
As early as possible. Planning time affects the quality of an event operation more than anything else, particularly where licensed areas are involved.
Tell us about the event early.
Send the run sheet and the date. We will tell you honestly whether we can resource it properly, and what the plan would look like.
