Who we are
This policy applies to SPOTLESS SERVICES GROUP PTY LTD, trading as Vigilume Security and Vigilume Cleaning. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect contact and organisational details you provide through enquiry, quote and careers forms; information required to deliver services, including site access details; and employment-related information from applicants, such as licences and work rights evidence.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and supervise services, meet legal and licensing obligations, and assess applications for employment.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only where necessary to deliver services, to comply with the law, or to service providers bound by equivalent obligations.
Incident and site records
Incident reports, patrol logs and inspection records may contain personal information. These records are retained in line with legal obligations and provided to the relevant client in the agreed reporting format.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and retain it only as long as required for the purpose collected or by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, using the contact details on our contact page. Unresolved complaints may be referred to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
